What type of fixation does my car have?

There are basically 4 different fixation points on Danish cars. It can be a bit of a jungle to navigate - Therefore, we provide a small overview here:

Normal/flat car roof

Cars where the roof is completely smooth, no railing, points, or similar. Typically seen on smaller passenger cars.

Fix pointsr

4 points found on the car's roof, two on each side, usually covered by a small plastic cover. Most commonly used on mid-range cars, seen on many different car models

Flush roof railing

Very similar to the classic roof railing, there is just no gap between the railing and the car's roof. Used a lot on newer station wagons, e.g., Opel, Ford, Renault

Standard roof railing

The classic roof railing that most people know. A black bar that sits along the car's roof, with about 2-3 cm of space to the roof. Most often seen on older station wagon models, vans, and MPVs.

NOTE. The images are for illustration, and the actual mounting foot model may vary, depending on the type of fixation on the specific car.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Completely pre-assembled
  • Delivered as a complete set
  • Perfect fit for the car
  • Rubber tension plates for protection of the car's paint
  • Theft protection using Atera coded key
  • Recommended max. load 100 kg
  • TÜV-approved
  • 3-year warranty

What is the difference between roof bar types?

  • Steel roof bars, the classic square black steel rods. The rods measure W. 32 x H. 22 mm.
  • Alu rods, the oval silver-colored rods with integrated t-slot, for easier mounting of e.g., kayak holder, roof box, etc.
  • Aero profile, the reinterpreted version of roof rods. Aerodynamic design for less noise. Integrated t-slot. Also available in black.
