NOTE:
Newer plastic headlights that have received UV treatment CANNOT be polished with the Philips headlight kit. Therefore, test on a small corner of the headlight if the fine sanding scratches made with the included gray foam-backed sandpaper can be polished away with a little of the included polish.
If they can be removed, the headlight glass is not UV-treated, and the headlight kit can be used. Likewise, some newer headlights from 2006 have a coating intended to reduce wear on the headlight. These can be polished, but when sanding, there will be a small mark where the coating has been broken. Polishing with the headlight kit is at your own risk, and the Philips Headlight Restoration Kit does not replace headlights where the kit has been used.
