The Hardi feed pump is designed to supply carburetors or injection pumps with fuel from the tank on older cars, boats, generator sets, etc., with low-pressure suction or feed systems. The pumps are self-priming up to approximately 1.5 meters height difference in relation to the fuel tank and deliver a feed pressure of approximately 0.13–0.8 bar with a capacity of 60–130 liters per hour.
They are available in several variants with operating voltage of 6V, 12V, and 24V DC, different performances and pressure curves, as well as nine types of connections. Hardi pumps are self-regulating – they automatically adapt to the engine's fuel consumption and reduce or stop completely when the engine idles or is turned off.
The pumps can also be used as a replacement for original mechanical feed pumps, e.g., on Perkins engines, as well as for classic cars such as older English models and Porsche 911. See the conversion table here.
