The system is developed for modern cars and activates automatically at low speed – perfect for parking and manoeuvring in tight areas. This system is based on FUL CAN technology, which means it integrates directly with the car's CANBUS system. The sensors activate automatically when the speed drops below approx. 10 km/h, and deactivate again above approx. 14 km/h. - The advantage? You avoid annoying false alarms from e.g. rain, snow or dirt, which are often seen with traditional analogue systems. Only 4 wires need to be connected - ground, terminal 15 (+15), CAN high and CAN low. The system is installed from the front.
Included are a control unit, 4 pcs. sensors (Ø19.7 mm), 4 pcs. sensor cables, main wiring harness, 1 pc. speaker, 1 pc. hole saw (Ø20 mm), self-adhesive tape and cable ties.Sensors and sensor housings can be painted in the car's colour for a discreet, OEM look.
NOTE:
The system uses the standard CANBUS protocol J1979 and fits most cars from approx. 2009 onwards.
Some cars use a limited version of the protocol, which may affect functionality
There must only be one retrofitted CAN accessory in the car
Multiple retrofitted units may cause errors or functional issues
