Stalk Adapter Ford ensures that the original steering wheel control functions (SWC) are retained when the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket head unit (HU). Depending on the vehicle's equipment level as well as the functions and software in the new head unit, certain control functions may be lost or replaced by others.
Before installation, the shown connectors and cable connections should be compared with the vehicle's existing connectors to ensure correct fit – both visually and technically. It is also recommended to check whether one of the specified OEM head units has previously been installed, and to review and test the vehicle's functions, settings and steering wheel controls before the final installation is carried out.
